Transportation

Forest Glade is especially car friendly. It is a reasonably short car ride to the nearest highway, such as E C Row Expressway, from anywhere in this neighbourhood, and it is easy to park. On the other hand, the transit service in this area is rather poor. Nonetheless, there are a few bus lines traversing the neighbourhood, and most homes are very close to a bus stop. Forest Glade is fairly amenable to biking because there are a limited number of slopes. In contrast, there are relatively few pedestrians out on the streets of this neighbourhood, although carrying out daily needs is convenient without a car.

Services

House buyers in this part of the city will be pleased to learn that a grocery store is always only a short walk away. There are also a limited number of opportunities for those who care about nearby restaurants and cafes. Concerning education, it is a short walk to get to primary schools and daycares from any location in Forest Glade. In contrast, this part of the city does not have any high schools.

Character

The character of Forest Glade is exemplified by its calm atmosphere. This area is especially quiet, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour close to E C Row Expressway or one of the railway lines. Finally, parks, like Derwent and Forest Glade, are very well-spread out and there are about 10 of them nearby for residents to check out, which makes it easy to reach them.
