Part of the Greater Oshawa metropolitan area, Rolling Acres is a neighbourhood within Whitby, Ontario.

Transportation

Moving around by car is convenient in this part of Whitby. It is convenient to park. In contrast, the public transit system in this part of the town is not very practical. Nonetheless, there are a few bus lines traversing the neighbourhood, and the closest bus stop is generally very close. This part of the town is not especially bicycling-friendly as there are a limited number of bike lanes, and there are a good number of elevation changes. It is also sometimes challenging for pedestrians to move around in this area because few daily errands can be run without having to use a vehicle.

Services

The nearest supermarket in Rolling Acres is typically only a rather short walk away. Residents can enjoy a few restaurants and coffee shops as well. With regards to education, daycares and primary schools are very easy to get to on foot from most properties for sale in this part of Whitby. However, Rolling Acres does not have any high schools.

The character of Rolling Acres is exemplified by its slower-paced ambience. Although this neighbourhood does not contain any green spaces, parks are very well-distributed in nearby neighbourhoods, which makes it easy to get to them.
