Transportation

Port Whitby is very car friendly. Parking is quite easy, and most real estate listings are a rather short car ride from the closest highway, such as Highway 401. In contrast, Port Whitby is not very transit friendly. Nonetheless, property owners can count on the Whitby Station on the Lakeshore East Line. The neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and bus stops are typically close by.
