Cars are a very good mode of transportation in Lakeshore. Nearby highways are easy to access from any home in this neighbourhood, and it is convenient to park. In contrast, the public transit service in this neighbourhood is not especially frequent. Nonetheless, house owners are served by a few bus lines, and the closest bus stop is usually just around the corner. Riding a bike is quite popular in Lakeshore because this area boasts a reasonably good cycling infrastructure. In contrast, there aren't many pedestrians out on the streets of this part of Waterloo, although carrying out day-to-day needs is convenient by walking.

Services

Families will value the proximity to primary schools, which are within walking distance from all homes for sale in this part of Waterloo. However, this neighbourhood does not contain any high schools. When it comes to eating, some, but not all, home buyers in this part of Waterloo will live within walking distance of the closest grocery store. Residents of this neighbourhood benefit from a few restaurants as well.

The character of Lakeshore is exemplified by its calm atmosphere.
