Central is a neighbourhood within Waterloo, Ontario, which is situated in the Kitchener - Cambridge - Waterloo metropolitan area.

Transportation

Central provides homeowners with the choice between a diversity of methods of transportation. The transit access in this part of the city is practical owing to a multitude of nearby rapid transit stations on the ION Light Rail, and about 10 nearby bus lines. Many of the homes for sale in this part of the city are located in places that are also moderately conducive to those who prefer to travel as pedestrians; running daily errands is easy without needing to resort to a car, and numerous businesses are close at hand. Central is a fairly pleasant part of Waterloo for bike riders. More precisely, there are a fair number of bike lanes.
