The neighbourhood of Uplands is part of the city of Vaughan, Ontario, which is located in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.

Transportation

Uplands affords homeowners several alternative means of transportation. Thanks to 3 rapid transit stations (Yonge / Centre, Bathurst / Atkinson and Yonge / Royal Orchard) with access to the Viva Blue and Viva Orange, and about 10 nearby bus lines, commuting by public transit is easy in this area. Uplands will also appeal to home buyers who want to live in a walkable community because it is fairly walkable; running daily errands is easy without a vehicle. Even though riding a bike is better in certain areas than others, it is sometimes difficult to travel by bicycle in this neighbourhood as the cycling network is not particularly well-developed, and the terrain is not particularly flat.

Services

Getting to the nearest supermarket on foot is practical for some, but not all, property owners in Uplands. However, those who like to dine in restaurants will have a fair number of choices, and there are also a few cafes in this neighbourhood.
