Transportation

Beverley Glen presents home buyers with the choice between several means of transportation. Owing to many nearby rapid transit stations on the Viva Orange, and a few nearby bus lines, Beverley Glen is moderately transit friendly. This area is also a fairly pleasant part of Vaughan for pedestrians; many common errands can be run without a vehicle. Beverley Glen is moderately amenable to cycling because the cycling infrastructure is reasonably good.

Services

Reaching the closest supermarket as pedestrians is possible for some, but not all, home buyers in this neighbourhood. There are also approximately 20 restaurants and coffee shops in this area. As far as education is concerned, schools and daycares are straightforward to access without the need to get in a vehicle from any location in Beverley Glen. Besides public schools, there are private primary and high schools.

Character

Beverley Glen is a good neighbourhood to buy a home in for those who prefer a relaxed environment. This part of Vaughan is reasonably quiet, as there tend to be low levels of noise from traffic - although that is not the case near Highway 407. Lastly, getting to public green spaces in the neighbourhood, including Concord / Thornhill Regional Park, is easy since there are a few of them nearby for residents to unwind in.

Housing

Roughly three quarters of the population of this neighbourhood own their home while the rest are renters. Large apartment buildings are the most common housing type, representing the majority of dwellings in this part of the city, whereas the remainder are mainly single detached homes. Around half of properties in this neighbourhood were built following the year 2000, while most of the remaining buildings were constructed in the 1980s and the 1990s. This neighbourhood also has a good selection of housing sizes - it is quite easy to find properties ranging from lofts to four or more bedrooms.
