The neighbourhood of York Ridge can be found in the city of Toronto, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.

Transportation

York Ridge will draw property owners that value a diversity of methods of transportation. Travelling by public transit is straightforward in this part of the city. For example, the closest rapid transit station, including York Mills Station - Southbound Platform and York Mills Station - Northbound Platform on the Line 1 (Yonge-University), is ordinarily a short walk away from the bulk of homes in the neighbourhood. The neighbourhood is linked by around 10 bus lines, and it is especially convenient to reach a nearby bus stop from most houses. Many of the houses for sale in this neighbourhood are located in areas that are also quite suitable for walking; meeting daily needs is easy by walking, and there are also a fair number of businesses in proximity. York Ridge is not very conducive to biking since the cycling infrastructure is somewhat poor, and cyclists encounter a significant amount of elevation changes. Thankfully, a few enjoyable areas for bicycling exist.

It is a short walk to reach schools and daycares from most homes for sale in York Ridge.
