Transportation

This neighbourhood allows property owners to get around using a variety of means of transportation. West Hill is a fairly pleasant part of Toronto for getting around by public transit. More specifically, residents are served by the Guildwood with access to the Lakeshore East. The neighbourhood is served by a few bus lines, and the closest bus stop is usually very close. Many of the homes for sale in this part of Toronto are located in areas that are also quite suitable for those who travel by foot; running common errands is convenient. West Hill is reasonably suited for biking.

Services

It is very often practical for house buyers in West Hill to purchase groceries by walking. Residents can enjoy approximately 30 restaurants and cafes as well. As far as education is concerned, in West Hill, families will generally be able to get to schools and daycares by walking.

Character

West Hill is a good neighbourhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a calm atmosphere. This area is quiet, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour. Finally, greenery is reasonably present in this part of Toronto; it is very easy to access public green spaces in the neighbourhood since there are about 20 of them nearby for residents to unwind in. Housing

Most of the housing growth in West Hill happened in the 1960s and 1970s. The population residing in this neighbourhood is evenly split between renters and owners. This neighbourhood has a good variety of housing sizes, ranging from lofts to four or more bedrooms.
