Transportation

This neighbourhood will attract homeowners that use a diversity of methods of transportation. Thanks to a few nearby bus lines, travelling by public transit is easy in Rexdale. Rexdale is also a fairly pleasant part of Toronto for pedestrians; many day-to-day needs can be met without the use of a vehicle. Moving around by bicycle is convenient in Rexdale.

Services

It is a short walk to get to schools and daycares from most houses for sale in Rexdale. Families have the option of public and private schools at both the elementary and high school level. When it comes to food, getting to the closest supermarket by walking is an option for some, but not all, property owners in this neighbourhood. That being said, a cafe is commonly just around the corner, and a limited variety of restaurants can be found in this area as well.

Character

The character of Rexdale is exemplified by its slower-paced ambience. This neighbourhood is very quiet overall, as there are usually low levels of noise from traffic. Finally, the greenery in this part of Toronto is quite prominent as a lot of streets have reasonably good tree coverage. There are approximately 20 parks close by for residents to unwind in, including Humber Gate Park and Etobicoke Hydro Green Space, and they are very well-spread out, which makes it very easy to reach them.
