More precisely, there are approximately 10 bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and most residences are very close to a bus stop. This area will also appeal to physically active people as it is conducive to walking; running daily errands is easy on foot. Maple Leaf is not very bike-friendly since the cycling network is not very comprehensive, and bicycle riders encounter quite a few elevation changes.
