Transportation

Kensington-Chinatown does not demand use of a car since various other modes of transportation are available. The excellent transit allows people to get to many destinations without needing a car owing to many nearby rapid transit stations with access to the Line 1 (Yonge-University), and a few nearby bus lines. It is also especially convenient for people travelling by foot to get around in this area; most common errands can be run without a vehicle, and plenty of businesses are very close at hand. Cycling is especially adopted in Kensington-Chinatown because the cycling infrastructure is moderately comprehensive, and there is usually a bike-share station in proximity.

Both general and specialty grocery stores are typically accessible within a very short stroll from any location in Kensington-Chinatown.
