Junction Triangle is a neighbourhood within Toronto, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.

Transportation

No matter the means of transportation, it is very easy to travel in this neighbourhood. Junction Triangle is very conducive to walking; many day-to-day needs are very convenient to carry out without having to use a vehicle, and numerous businesses are close by. This area is also a fairly convenient part of Toronto for cyclists. In particular, a bike share station is always located in close proximity, cyclists do not encounter significant elevation changes, and Junction Triangle features a fairly good cycling infrastructure. Thanks to Dundas West Station - Eastbound Platform on the Line 2 (Bloor - Danforth), and a few nearby bus lines, this area is home to a great public transit system. Cars are also a good transportation option in this neighbourhood since nearby highways are not particularly easy to drive to.

Services

It is very convenient to get to both a general and a specialty grocery store by walking from any home in Junction Triangle. Additionally, there is typically a restaurant or cafe just around the corner. Regarding education, it is a very short walk to get to daycares and schools from anywhere in Junction Triangle. At the primary level, there are both public and private schools.

Character

Junction Triangle has a character that appeals to a fairly diverse group of people. Junction Triangle is quiet, as the streets are usually calm - however some parts can be quite loud, especially around one of the railway lines. There is a fair amount of greenery in this area; it is very easy to access parks in the neighbourhood since there are approximately 10 of them close by for residents to relax in. Residents will also find that the tree canopy coverage for the majority of streets is reasonably good. Finally, finding things to do in this area is easy. Although this part of the city is not known for its nightlife, there are crowds of people around most of the time. Bloor Street is among the most lively streets in this area.

Housing

Small apartment buildings are the most common housing type, representing roughly 55% of buildings in Junction Triangle, while the remainder are mainly large apartment buildings and townhouses. Around 40% of properties in this neighbourhood were built before the 1960s, while many of the remaining buildings were constructed in the 1960s and the 1990s.
