Entertainment District is a neighbourhood within Toronto, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.

Transportation

This area permits house buyers to get around by a variety of methods of transportation. It is very easy for people walking to navigate Entertainment District; all day-to-day errands can be run without the use of a vehicle, and there are also a very large number of businesses nearby. Entertainment District will also draw physically active people since it is very suitable for cycling. More specifically, there are a large number of bike lanes, cyclists do not encounter significant elevation changes, and bike-share stations are never more than a few blocks away. With various nearby rapid transit stations with access to the Line 1 (Yonge-University), and approximately 20 nearby bus lines, the public transit network in Entertainment District is very practical. Cars are also a reasonably good transportation option in Entertainment District. Nearby highways, such as F G Gardiner Expressway, are very easy to access from anywhere in Entertainment District.

Greenery is not very present in this neighbourhood; although, green spaces are very easy to get to since there are around 10 of them nearby for residents to enjoy.

Large apartment buildings are the most common housing type, representing almost all dwellings in Entertainment District, and the rest of the dwellings are mainly small apartment buildings. Notably, this part of the city is good for those looking for one bedroom homes. Around two thirds of the population of this neighbourhood rent their home while owners make up the remainder. This neighbourhood experienced its most significant construction boom following the year 2000, so most of the available housing stock is from this time period.
