Transportation
East L'Amoreaux offers homeowners the choice between a diversity of methods of transportation. This part of Toronto is transit friendly. In particular, the neighbourhood is linked by approximately 10 bus lines, and it is especially convenient to get to a nearby bus stop from most homes. Home buyers who value living in a walkable area will also welcome the moderately pedestrian-friendly character of this part of Toronto; many common errands can be run without the need to get in a vehicle, and plenty of businesses are rather close by. Biking is convenient in this area.
Services
Property owners in East L'Amoreaux will value that a general and a specialty grocery store is always only a rather short distance away. Likewise, a restaurant is commonly just around the corner, and a small number of cafes is available as well. With respect to education, in this neighbourhood, families will typically be able to get to schools and daycares without a car. Parents benefit from public and private high schools.

The character of East L'Amoreaux is exemplified by its relaxed atmosphere. This neighbourhood is very quiet overall, as the streets are generally very peaceful. Finally, there is a good amount of greenery in this part of Toronto as numerous tree-lined streets are prominent. It is very easy to reach parks in the neighbourhood since there are around 20 of them nearby for residents to unwind in.

Large apartment buildings are the main housing type, representing around 40% of dwellings in East L'Amoreaux, while the rest are mainly single detached homes. This area experienced its most significant construction boom between 1960 and 1980, so most of the available housing stock is from this time period. This neighbourhood is primarily composed of four or more bedroom and three bedroom homes.
