Part of the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area, Danforth is a neighbourhood within Toronto, Ontario.

Transportation

No matter the medium of transportation, it is reasonably convenient to travel in Danforth. The transit access in this part of the city is very good due to plenty of nearby rapid transit stations with access to the Line 2 (Bloor - Danforth), and about 10 nearby bus lines. Danforth is also an extraordinarily pleasant part of Toronto for pedestrians; running common errands is easy without a vehicle, and various businesses are close by. This area is reasonably bicycling-friendly.

Services

Parents and their children will value the proximity to daycares and schools, which are within walking distance from all properties for sale in this neighbourhood. With respect to eating, a general and a specialty grocery store is always only a short stroll away in Danforth. Likewise, there are a good number of choices within walking distance for those who value restaurants and cafes.

Character

The character of Danforth is exemplified by its calm atmosphere. This area features a good amount of greenery as there are numerous tree-lined streets.
