Part of the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area, Bay Street Corridor is a neighbourhood within Toronto, Ontario.

Transportation

This neighbourhood is an excellent neighbourhood for car-free transportation options. Thanks to many nearby rapid transit stations on the Line 1 (Yonge-University), and about 10 nearby bus lines, home buyers can depend on public transit to get around in this part of Toronto. This neighbourhood will also appeal to active people since it is especially conducive to walking; many daily needs are very convenient to carry out by walking, and there are also innumerable businesses close by. Active property owners will appreciate the very bike-friendly nature of Bay Street Corridor. In particular, there are a limited number of hills to challenge cyclists, a bike share station can usually be found close by, and the cycling infrastructure is very well-developed.

Services

In this neighbourhood, families will almost always be able to reach daycares and schools by walking. In addition to public schools, there are private high schools. With regards to eating, a general and a specialty grocery store is always only a very short walk away in this area. The greenery in this area is not very prominent; however, parks, such as Queen's Park and Nathan Phillips Square, are especially well-distributed and there are approximately 10 of them nearby for residents to check out, resulting in them being very easy to get to from the majority of locations in the neighbourhood.

In Bay Street Corridor, almost all buildings are large apartment buildings, while small apartment buildings are also present in the housing stock.
