The neighbourhood of West End is part of the city of Thunder Bay, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Thunder Bay metropolitan area.

Transportation

Home buyers who appreciate living in a compact area will be pleased with the fairly pedestrian-friendly character of West End; many day-to-day needs can be carried out without the use of a vehicle. However, commuting by bicycle is occasionally challenging in this part of the city because the topography is not very flat, and there are few bike lanes. West End is car friendly. The majority of properties for sale are a reasonably short car ride from the nearest highway, and it is easy to find a parking spot. On the other hand, the public transit service in this neighbourhood is not very frequent. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and most homes are very close to a bus stop.
