Transportation

The car is very often the favoured means of transportation in Fort Erie. It is very easy to park, and most real estate listings are a rather short drive from the closest highway, such as Queen Elizabeth Way. Walking is not very practical for property owners in this community since very few daily needs can be met without having to resort to a vehicle. This part of the town is also not especially suited for bicycling as there are few bike lanes. Nonetheless, there are a limited number of elevation changes.

Services

Primary schools are easy to get to on foot from most properties for sale in Fort Erie. However, high schools are not particularly plentiful and consequently not always within walking distance. At the primary level, there are both public and private schools. Concerning food, in most, if not all, cases, a car is required to purchase groceries. Nevertheless, reaching the closest pharmacy and therefore some basic food items is generally convenient. There are also a few opportunities for those who value nearby restaurants.
