Crescent Park is a neighbourhood within Fort Erie, Ontario, which is located in the St. Catharines - Niagara metropolitan area.

Transportation

This area is very car friendly. It is very convenient to park. Although certain pleasant pockets for cycling exist, and there are a limited number of elevation changes for cyclists to brave, Crescent Park is not especially bicycling-friendly since the cycling infrastructure is fairly poor. Walking is also not very practical for residents in this part of the town since very few common errands can be run without a vehicle.

Services

Parents and their kids will appreciate that wherever their house is located in this part of the town, daycares and primary schools are nearby. However, families may consider it very difficult for their children to access high schools by walking. In terms of food, property owners in this part of Fort Erie almost always have to rely on a vehicle to buy their groceries. There are also a few choices for those who value restaurants within walking distance.

Character

Crescent Park offers a slower-paced environment. Crescent Park is great for those who need quiet areas, as the streets tend to be especially peaceful close to Queen Elizabeth Way.

Roughly 90% of the properties in the neighbourhood are occupied by homeowners and the rest are rented. Single detached homes and townhouses are the predominant housing type in this part of Fort Erie. Roughly 40% of properties in this area were constructed in the 1960s and 1970s, while many of the remaining buildings were built pre-1960 and in the 1980s. This area offers mainly four or more bedroom and three bedroom homes.
