Ingleside

Ingleside is a community within South Stormont, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Cornwall metropolitan area.

Transportation

Commuting by car is very easy in Ingleside. Most houses for sale are a rather short drive from the closest highway, and it is especially convenient to park. Although bicycling is made easier by the generally flat terrain, Ingleside is not very cycling-friendly because the cycling infrastructure is not very comprehensive. A majority of the houses for sale in this part of South Stormont are located in places that are also not very suitable for those who travel by foot since most daily needs are inconvenient to meet without the use of a vehicle.

Services

Parents and their children will find that no matter where their property is situated in this part of South Stormont, primary schools are nearby. In contrast, there are no high schools in this area. As far as eating is concerned, accessing the nearest grocery store on foot is practical for some, but not all, house buyers in Ingleside. A limited number of restaurants are available in this part of the township as well.

Character

Ingleside is excellent for those who like a quiet atmosphere, as noise from the streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue.

Housing

Single detached homes are the most common housing type, representing the vast majority of buildings in Ingleside, and the remainder are mainly small apartment buildings. This part of the township is primarily composed of four or more bedroom and three bedroom homes. Homeowners occupy around 80% of the dwellings in Ingleside while the remainder are rented. This part of South Stormont did not experience a single building boom; the construction of new homes in Ingleside was spread throughout multiple decades in the twentieth and twenty-first century.
