Martintown

The community of Martintown can be found in the township of South Glengarry, Ontario, which is located in United Counties of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry.

Transportation

Martintown is very car friendly. Accessing a place to park is generally easy. Traveling as a pedestrian is not very practical for residents in Martintown because very few daily errands can be run without needing to get in a car. The bicycle is a rather poor mode of transportation in this part of South Glengarry because cyclists are faced with quite a few hills, and the cycling infrastructure is not very extensive.

Services

In all but a very small number of cases, a vehicle is needed to buy groceries. Concerning education, parents and their children will welcome that no matter where their property is situated in this community, daycares are nearby. In contrast, Martintown does not have any primary schools or high schools.

Martintown offers a relaxed atmosphere. The noise levels in Martintown are especially low, as the streets are very peaceful.
