Headford Business Park

The neighbourhood of Headford Business Park is part of the town of Richmond Hill, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.

Transportation

The preferred way to get around in Headford Business Park is usually a car. Nearby highways, such as Highway 404, are very easy to reach from any home in this part of Richmond Hill, and parking is quite easy. However, this neighbourhood is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, house owners have access to a few bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is typically just around the corner. Headford Business Park is not very bike-friendly because there are a fair number of hills, and the cycling network is not very extensive. Nonetheless, some bike-friendly pockets exist. A majority of the homes for sale in this neighbourhood are located in places that are also not especially conducive to walking because many daily needs are sometimes challenging to carry out without having to resort to a vehicle.

Services

Accessing the closest supermarket on foot is practical for some, but not all, home buyers in this area. Residents benefit from a few restaurants and cafes as well. As far as education is concerned, it is a rather short walk to get to schools and daycares from most properties for sale in this part of Richmond Hill.

Character

There is a great variety of green spaces in Headford Business Park. Although the neighbourhood is not home to any parks, public green spaces are especially well-situated in nearby neighbourhoods, making it easy to reach them. Finally, it remains relatively quiet in this part of Richmond Hill, thanks to the presence of very few pedestrians.

Housing

Headford Business Park experienced its main construction boom after the year 2000, so most of the available housing is from this era. The large proportion of single detached homes in the housing stock of this area is an important part of its character. Homeowners occupy nearly all of the dwellings in Headford Business Park and the rest are rented. However this part of Richmond Hill is especially good for those looking for four or more bedroom homes.
