Transportation

Thompson's Corners is an extremely good part of Pickering for travelling by car. The street layout is well suited for getting around by car, and it is very easy to park. Thompson's Corners is not very bicycling-friendly because there are a fair number of hills for cyclists to brave, and the cycling network is quite poor. It is also very inconvenient for pedestrians to move around in this area as most day-to-day needs are very impractical to carry out without a car.
