Situated in the Greater Peterborough metropolitan area, Otonabee is a neighbourhood within Peterborough, Ontario.

Transportation

Cars are an excellent transportation option in Otonabee. It is very easy to access a place to park, and most houses for sale are a short car ride from the nearest highway, such as Highway 7 & 115. However, the public transit service in this part of Peterborough is not very frequent. Nonetheless, homeowners are served by a few bus lines, and most homes are very close to a bus stop. Many of the homes for sale in this part of Peterborough are located in areas that are not very suitable for those who travel by foot as few day-to-day errands can be run without needing to use a vehicle. The bicycle is a sometimes poor method of transportation in Otonabee as there are a fair number of slopes, and there are few bike lanes.

Services

Daycares and primary schools are easy to reach on foot from most houses for sale in Otonabee. On the other hand, there are no high schools in this part of the city.
