Transportation

This area is an extremely good part of Peterborough for getting around by car. Most of the street infrastructure is conducive to driving, and it is very easy to come across a place to park. In contrast, travelling by public transit is difficult in Major Bennett. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and most properties are very close to a bus stop. This part of Peterborough is not very conducive to bicycling as there are a fair number of elevation changes, and the cycling network is not very extensive. Nevertheless, a few bicycling-friendly areas exist. Walking is also not very practical for property owners in Major Bennett because carrying out day-to-day needs is challenging.
