The neighbourhood of Centretown is part of the city of Ottawa, Ontario, which is located in the Ottawa - Gatineau metropolitan area.

Transportation

This area offers home buyers several alternative methods of transportation. Commuting by public transit is especially convenient in Centretown. More precisely, the closest rapid transit station, such as Slater/Kent, Slater/O'Connor and Lyon O-Train East / Est with access to the Rapibus 400, is commonly just around the corner from the majority of houses in the neighbourhood. There are about 40 bus lines, and most residences are very close to a bus stop. Most homes for sale in this part of the city are located in areas that are also especially convenient for walking; all daily needs can be carried out without needing to use a car, and many businesses are nearby. A large number of residents in the area use their bike since the bicycling network is very good.

It is very convenient to get to both a general and a specialty grocery store on foot from any location in this area.
