Orleans is a suburb within Ottawa, Ontario, which is located in the Ottawa - Gatineau metropolitan area.

Transportation

This suburb is reasonably car friendly. It is easy to find a parking spot. However, the transit in Orleans is not especially convenient. Thankfully, homeowners have access to approximately 30 bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is generally very close by. It is at times challenging for pedestrians to move around in this part of the city because few day-to-day errands can be run without the use of a vehicle. However, Orleans is rather cycling-friendly since it is an even ride to most locations, and there are a fair number of bike lanes.

Services

Parents and their children will value that wherever their property is located in Orleans, schools and daycares are close by. Apart from public schools, there are private primary and secondary schools. Regarding eating, house buyers in Orleans will value that a grocery store is always only a reasonably short stroll away.
