Transportation

This part of Oshawa will attract people who want to reside in a compact community because it is suitable for walking; many daily needs can be met without a vehicle, and a good number of businesses of different types can be found as well. Moving around by bicycle is also convenient in Vanier. The transit infrastructure in this area is not particularly practical. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is connected by about 10 bus lines, and bus stops are typically very close by. On the other hand, Vanier is a very good part of Oshawa for travelling by car.
