Farewell

Part of the Greater Oshawa metropolitan area, Farewell is a neighbourhood within Oshawa, Ontario.

Transportation

Cars are a great medium of transportation in this part of Oshawa. It is very convenient to come across a parking spot, and nearby highways, such as Highway 401, are very easy to access from any location in this neighbourhood. However, Farewell is not an especially pleasant part of Oshawa for travelling by public transit. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most properties. There aren't many pedestrians out on the streets of Farewell, despite the fact that running daily errands is convenient on foot. However, this area is quite appropriate for cycling.

Services

Reaching the nearest supermarket on foot is possible for some, but not all, home buyers in Farewell. A limited number of restaurants can be found in Farewell as well. With respect to education, daycares and schools are easy to reach on foot from anywhere in this neighbourhood.

Character

Farewell offers a broad selection of green spaces to enjoy. Parks are very well-situated and there are about 10 of them close by for residents to discover, making it very easy to reach them from a large number of locations within this part of Oshawa. This area is relatively quiet, as there are very few pedestrians.

This area also has a good choice of housing size options - it is quite easy to find houses ranging from lofts to four or more bedrooms.
