Transportation

Driving is a great transportation option in Columbus. It is especially convenient to find a parking spot. In contrast, getting around by transit can be very difficult in Columbus by reason of the service's low frequency. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is generally within walking distance. Most homes for sale in this part of Oshawa are located in areas that are not very convenient for walking because very few daily errands can be run on foot. Columbus is also not very suited for bicycling since the cycling network is not very well-developed, and there are a fair number of elevation changes for cyclists to brave.

Services

There are only a few primary schools in Columbus and accordingly they can be a rather long walk away. Moreover, Columbus does not have any high schools.
