Transportation

It is easy to travel by bicycle in Old Oakville. Most houses for sale in this part of the town are located in areas that are also reasonably suitable for walking; many daily errands can be run on foot, and there are also a good number of businesses in proximity. The favoured method of transportation in this part of the town is very often a car. The majority of real estate listings are a reasonably short car ride from the closest highway, and it is easy to park. In contrast, the public transit system in Old Oakville is not very practical. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and the closest bus stop is usually very close.

Services

It is a reasonably short walk to get to daycares and schools from anywhere in Old Oakville. At the elementary level, there are both public and private schools. As far as eating is concerned, some property owners in this neighbourhood may have the option to buy groceries by walking, while others will have to turn to another means of transportation. Character

Old Oakville offers a slower-paced atmosphere and will appeal to home buyers who enjoy spending time outdoors.
