The preferred method of transportation in this community is usually driving. Parking is generally easy, and the majority of houses for sale are a very short drive from the nearest highway. On the other hand, the public transit service in this community is quite poor. Nonetheless, there are a few bus lines passing through the community, and bus stops are ordinarily nearby. Norfolk North is not very conducive to those who travel by foot because most daily needs are impractical to carry out without having to use a vehicle. The bicycle is a sometimes poor method of transportation in this area since there are few bike lanes. Nevertheless, there are few elevation changes to challenge cyclists.
