The neighbourhood of Beaverdams is part of the city of Niagara Falls, Ontario, which is situated in the St. Catharines - Niagara metropolitan area.

Transportation

The car is very often the preferred transportation option in this part of the city. It is very convenient to park, and it is a reasonably short drive to the nearest highway, such as Queen Elizabeth Way, from anywhere in Beaverdams. However, the transit access in Beaverdams is rather limited. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is linked by about 10 bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is generally around the corner. This part of the city is not particularly well-suited for pedestrians as few common errands can be run without a car. Getting around by bicycle is also occasionally challenging in Beaverdams because the bicycling network is fairly poor. Nevertheless, there are a limited number of slopes.
