Ninth Line

Ninth Line is a neighbourhood within Mississauga, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.

Transportation

Commuting by car is especially convenient in Ninth Line. It is easy to come across a place to park, and the majority of homes for sale are a very short drive from the closest highway, such as Highway 403. On the other hand, public transit users may have few choices in this neighbourhood as a result of the infrequent service. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and it is very easy to find a nearby bus stop from most residences. Most houses for sale in this part of the city are located in places that are not especially well-suited for those who prefer to get around on foot as running daily errands is sometimes difficult without a car. Despite the fact that cycling is better in certain sectors than others, this neighbourhood boasts fairly good cycling infrastructure, and the area is rather flat, commuting by bicycle is also at times difficult in Ninth Line.

Services

Primary schools are easy to access on foot from most properties for sale in this neighbourhood. In contrast, high schools are not especially plentiful and therefore may require a long walk to get to. Concerning eating, getting to the closest supermarket on foot is possible for some, but not all, house buyers in this area. A small variety of restaurants is available in Ninth Line as well.

Character

There is a great variety of green spaces in Ninth Line. There are about 10 parks close by for residents to check out, such as North of Derry Rd) and Not Yet Named (P-460) *(West of Erin Centre Blvd Along Ninth Line), and they are very well-spread out, which results in them being very easy to reach from the majority of locations in the neighbourhood. It is relatively serene in this neighbourhood, thanks to the presence of very few people out and about on the streets.

Housing

Around 90% of the population of this neighbourhood own their home and 10% are renters. In this part of the city, about 45% of buildings are single detached homes, but townhouses are also present in the housing stock. Most of the housing growth in this neighbourhood has occurred after the year 2000. This area offers mainly three bedroom and four or more bedroom homes.
