Located within the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area, Nelson is a neighbourhood within Milton, Ontario.

Transportation

Driving is usually the preferred transportation option in this part of the town. It is easy to access a parking spot. However, public transit riders may experience few options in this part of the town due to the low service level. Nelson is bicycling-friendly because the cycling network is quite comprehensive. Nelson is not very conducive to walking as very few common errands can be run without the use of a vehicle.

Services

It is a rather short walk to get to primary schools from most homes for sale in this part of the town. However, Nelson does not contain any high schools. With regards to food, in all but a very small number of cases, a car is needed to buy groceries. Nevertheless, it is generally a reasonably short distance to the nearest pharmacy, which can supply some basic food items.

Character

Nelson offers a calm ambience and will appeal to home buyers who enjoy spending time outdoors. There are a few parks close by for residents to unwind in, resulting in them being easy to reach from most locations within this neighbourhood.
