Transportation

Driving is usually the preferred method to get around in Sherwood-Amberglen. It is very convenient to park, and nearby highways, such as Highway 407, are very easy to reach from any location in this neighbourhood. In contrast, the public transit system in Sherwood-Amberglen is rather poor. Thankfully, rapid transit stations, including Hwy 7 / Wootten with access to the Viva Purple, are not very far from the majority of houses in the neighbourhood. There are a few bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and the closest bus stop is usually very close. A majority of the houses for sale in this neighbourhood are located in places that are not particularly conducive to walking because running common errands is at times difficult. In contrast, this area is reasonably suited for cycling.

Services

A supermarket is typically reachable within a rather short walk from anywhere in Sherwood-Amberglen. There are also a limited number of choices for those who value restaurants and cafes in close proximity. Regarding education, parents and their children will appreciate the proximity to primary schools and daycares, which are within walking distance from vast majority properties for sale in this area.
