Tempo is a neighbourhood within London, Ontario, which is located in the Greater London metropolitan area.

Transportation

The car is usually the favoured way to navigate this area. The majority of the street network is well suited for driving, and nearby highways, such as Highway 402, are very easy to access from anywhere in Tempo. In contrast, Tempo is not a very pleasant part of London for getting around by public transit. Tempo is not very bike-friendly because the bicycling network is quite poor, and there are a good number of elevation changes. Many of the houses for sale in this part of the city are located in places that are also not very convenient for walking as very few common errands can be run without the use of a car.

Services

There are no high schools and no primary schools in this neighbourhood. Moreover, it can be very difficult to get to daycares as a pedestrian. In terms of eating, buying one's groceries usually necessitates the use of a car in Tempo.

Character

Tempo is a great area for those who aren't bothered by a little noise, as during busy hours, traffic can occasionally be bothersome.

Housing

About three quarters of the units in the neighbourhood are occupied by homeowners while the rest are rented. Single detached homes are the most common housing type, representing the overwhelming majority of dwellings in this part of London, while large apartment buildings are also present in the housing stock. Around one third of homes in this neighbourhood were constructed prior to the 1960s, while most of the remaining buildings were built in the 1960s and the 1980s. This part of the city offers mainly three bedroom and four or more bedroom homes.
