Transportation

It is convenient for pedestrians to navigate East London; many common errands can be run on foot, and various businesses are quite nearby. A good number of residents in the area use their bicycle because the cycling infrastructure is extensive. East London is not particularly transit friendly. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is served by a few bus lines, and it is very convenient to reach a nearby bus stop from most residences. However, East London is quite car friendly. Coming across a place to park is quite easy.

Services

Primary schools and daycares are convenient to reach on foot from any location in this area. However, there are no high schools in this area. Concerning eating, property owners in this part of the city will value that a grocery store is always only a short walk away. Likewise, those who like to dine in restaurants will have a fair number of options, and there are also a few cafes in this neighbourhood.

Character

East London is a reasonably good neighbourhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a relaxed ambience. There are around 10 public green spaces nearby for residents to unwind in, including McCormick Park and Carling Heights Optimist Community Centre, and they are especially well-situated, which makes it easy to get to them. Most areas in this part of London are quiet, as there are generally low levels of noise from traffic - although that is not the case closer to one of the railway lines.
