Transportation

It is convenient for pedestrians to move around in this part of the city; carrying out daily needs is easy. East London is not especially transit friendly. Thankfully, house owners benefit from a few bus lines, and bus stops are usually nearby. In contrast, driving is a reasonably good medium of transportation in this part of the city. It is very convenient to park.

Services

It is straightforward to get to the nearest grocery store by walking in East London. In addition, East London is a fairly good place in which to go out to eat, and a small number of coffee shops is available as well. With respect to education, parents and their schoolchildren will value that no matter where their home is situated in this neighbourhood, primary schools are nearby. In contrast, high schools are not especially abundant and thus tend to require an extended walk to get to.

Character

East London is a reasonably good neighbourhood to buy a home in for those who prefer a slower-paced atmosphere. This part of the city is quiet overall, as the streets are calm - however noise can be problematic close to one of the railway lines. Lastly, a large number of locations in the neighbourhood have fairly good access to public green spaces, like Kiwanis Park, since there are a few of them nearby for residents to unwind in.
