The neighbourhood of Central London can be found in the city of London, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater London metropolitan area.

Transportation

Central London enables homeowners to travel by various modes of transportation. Residents can count on public transit to get around in this area by reason of London via on the Kitchener, and about 20 nearby bus lines. Central London will also appeal to house buyers who appreciate walkability because it is fairly walkable; many daily needs are easy to carry out without the use of a vehicle, and a variety of businesses are reasonably close by. Riding a bicycle is fairly popular in this part of the city because there are a good number of bike lanes.

Services

It is a short distance to reach daycares and schools from anywhere in Central London. In addition to public schools, there are private elementary and high schools. As far as food is concerned, a grocery store is generally reachable within a short distance from most houses for sale in this part of the city. Likewise, there is often a restaurant or cafe in close proximity, for example along Dundas Street.

Character

Central London offers a wide variety of green spaces to enjoy, despite its sometimes busy atmosphere. Public green spaces, like Wellington Valley and Victoria Park, are especially well-spread out and there are about 30 of them close by for residents to discover, resulting in them being very easy to access from most locations within the neighbourhood. Lastly, a good portion of Central London is quite quiet, however noise can be problematic around one of the railway lines.

This neighbourhood offers mainly two bedroom and one bedroom homes. Renters occupy roughly three quarters of the dwellings in Central London and one quarter are occupied by owners. Around one third of homes in this neighbourhood were constructed pre-1960, while many of the remaining buildings were built in the 1960s and the 1980s.
