Transportation

Pioneer Tower East is an extraordinarily good part of Kitchener for driving. It is very convenient to park, and the majority of properties for sale are a very short drive from the closest highway, such as Highway 401. However, Pioneer Tower East is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and most houses are very close to a bus stop. It is inconvenient for pedestrians to move around in Pioneer Tower East as few daily errands can be run without the use of a car. Biking is also challenging in this part of the city as riding is rendered arduous by the often steep area, and this area has fairly poor cycling infrastructure. Thankfully, cycling is more practical in some sectors than others.

Services

Some residents in this area may have the option to do grocery shopping as pedestrians, while others will need another means of transportation.
