Transportation

Active house buyers will welcome the reasonably pedestrian-friendly nature of Laurentian Hills; many daily needs are easy to carry out by walking. Commuting by bicycle is also convenient in Laurentian Hills because the cycling infrastructure is good. Public transit users may have limited options in this part of Kitchener by reason of the low service level. Nonetheless, property owners benefit from a few bus lines, and most properties are very close to a bus stop. In contrast, Laurentian Hills is very car friendly. Most real estate listings are a rather short drive from the nearest highway, such as Highway 7 & 8, and it is convenient to park.

Services

It is a rather short walk to access primary schools and daycares from any location in this part of Kitchener. In contrast, this area does not have any high schools. Families have the choice between public and private primary schools. Regarding eating, the nearest supermarket in this area is usually only a short walk away.
