Transportation

People who want to reside in an area that's walkable will welcome the pedestrian-friendly nature of Laurentian Hills; many daily errands can be run without the need to get in a vehicle. It is also convenient to commute by bicycle in this area because the bicycling network is good. Laurentian Hills is a very good part of Kitchener for driving. It is convenient to park, and nearby highways, such as Highway 7 & 8, are moderately easy to reach from anywhere in this area. In contrast, the public transit service in this part of the city is not very accessible. Nonetheless, there are a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most residences.

Services
