Transportation

This neighbourhood is a very convenient part of Kitchener for driving. It is easy to come across a place to park, and nearby highways are quite easy to access from any location in Idlewood. On the other hand, this neighbourhood is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, house owners benefit from a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most residences. Biking is easy in this neighbourhood as the bicycling network is reasonably extensive. It is at times difficult for pedestrians to get around in this part of Kitchener because few common errands can be run on foot.

Services

Primary schools are easy to access on foot from anywhere in Idlewood. On the other hand, there are no high schools in Idlewood. When it comes to food, getting to the nearest supermarket on foot is feasible for some, but not all, house buyers in this neighbourhood.
