Heritage Park

The neighbourhood of Heritage Park is part of the city of Kitchener, Ontario, which is situated in the Kitchener - Cambridge - Waterloo metropolitan area.

Transportation

Heritage Park is a fairly pleasant part of Kitchener for pedestrians; carrying out daily needs is convenient without a vehicle. Commuting by bicycle is also convenient in this neighbourhood since cyclists do not face serious elevation changes. Heritage Park is a very good part of Kitchener for getting around by car. It is a reasonably short car ride to the nearest highway from any location in this neighbourhood, and it is easy to park. On the other hand, this part of the city is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and most residences are very close to a bus stop.

Services

In Heritage Park, families will usually be able to get to both primary and secondary schools without a car. On the other hand, it can be very difficult to walk to daycares from houses for sale in this area. With respect to food, accessing the closest grocery store on foot is feasible for some, but not all, property owners in Heritage Park. A limited variety of restaurants and coffee shops is available as well.

This neighbourhood is primarily composed of two bedroom and three bedroom homes. The population residing in this area is evenly split between owners and renters. Most of the housing growth in this neighbourhood happened between 1960 and 1980.
