The neighbourhood of Lakeshore is part of the city of Waterloo, Ontario, which is situated in the Kitchener - Cambridge - Waterloo metropolitan area.

Transportation

This neighbourhood is very car friendly. It is a rather short car ride to the nearest highway from any home in Lakeshore, and it is easy to park. However, the public transit service in Lakeshore is not particularly frequent. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines traversing the neighbourhood, and most residences are very close to a bus stop. Lakeshore will attract physically active home buyers because it is quite suited for cycling. More specifically, there are a good number of bike lanes. On the other hand, walking is not very popular in this area, although many daily needs can be met without the use of a car.
