Central will appeal to homeowners that value several modes of transportation. This neighbourhood is a fairly pleasant part of Waterloo for pedestrians; many daily needs can be carried out without the use of a vehicle, and there are also a good number of businesses in proximity. This part of the city is also reasonably appropriate for bicycling because the cycling infrastructure is comprehensive. The public transit network in Central is reasonably practical owing to various nearby rapid transit stations with access to the 301 | Ion, and a few nearby bus lines. Getting around by car is also easy in Central. It is a rather short drive to the nearest highway from any home in Central, and it is convenient to find a parking spot.
