Markers Acres is a neighbourhood within Kingston, Ontario, which is located in the Greater Kingston metropolitan area.

Transportation

This part of Kingston is very car friendly. Nearby highways, such as Highway 401, are very easy to access from anywhere in this area, and it is especially convenient to park. On the other hand, the public transit service in this area is not particularly frequent. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and most properties are very close to a bus stop. Although riding a bike is more feasible in certain areas than others, Markers Acres is not particularly bike-friendly because there are a good number of elevation changes, and the bicycling infrastructure is rather limited. It is also occasionally challenging for pedestrians to move around in Markers Acres since few daily errands can be run on foot.

Services

Property owners in Markers Acres will value that a grocery store is always only a reasonably short walk away. A limited number of restaurants and cafes are available as well. As far as education is concerned, families will find that no matter where their home is located in this area, primary schools and daycares are nearby. However, Markers Acres does not have any high schools.
