Part of the Greater Kingston metropolitan area, Fairway Hills is a neighbourhood within Kingston, Ontario.

Transportation

Fairway Hills is a fairly convenient part of Kingston for getting around by car. Coming across a place to park is quite easy. On the other hand, getting around by public transit is challenging in Fairway Hills. Nevertheless, property owners are served by about 10 bus lines, and bus stops are generally nearby. Fairway Hills is not particularly suitable for those who travel by foot because few common errands can be run without the use of a car. However, riding a bike is quite popular in this part of the city since the cycling network is reasonably comprehensive.

Services

Some, but not all, house buyers in this area will live within walking distance of the nearest grocery store. Residents can enjoy a few restaurants and cafes as well. When it comes to education, families will find that no matter where their property is located in this area, daycares and primary schools are nearby. In contrast, Fairway Hills does not contain any high schools.

Character

People who prefer a calm environment will enjoy Fairway Hills. This neighbourhood is quiet overall, as the streets tend to be tranquil. Lastly, there are a few green spaces nearby for residents to unwind in, such as Marshland Conservation Area and Lake Ontario Park, and they are very well-spread out, making them very easy to get to.
