Part of the Kawartha Lakes metropolitan area, Lindsay is a community within Kawartha Lakes, Ontario.

Transportation

Driving is usually the best way to navigate this part of the city. It is easy to find a place to park, and many homes for sale are a rather short car ride from the nearest highway. Lindsay is not particularly well-suited for people who like to get around as pedestrians since few common errands can be run without the use of a vehicle. The bike is a sometimes poor means of transportation in this community because the area is not particularly flat, and the cycling network is rather limited.

Services

Schools and daycares are convenient to reach without a vehicle from any location in this area. At the elementary level, both public and private schools can be found.
