The neighbourhood of York Road can be found in the city of Hamilton, Ontario, which is located in the Greater Hamilton metropolitan area.

Transportation

This neighbourhood is very car friendly. Finding a place to park is quite easy. However, York Road is not very transit friendly. Nonetheless, homeowners have access to a few bus lines, and bus stops are usually nearby. York Road is not especially appropriate for bicycling since there are very few bike lanes, and bicycling is made difficult by the typically hilly topography. Nevertheless, families often decide to travel by bike. It is also impractical for pedestrians to move around in York Road as few daily errands can be run without the use of a vehicle.
